The unsportsmanlike call on Cal's first touchdown set the tone. Drop the ball and shuffle your feet twice is just too much .

Huge ND Fan but that last play was a typical selfish player trying to pad his stats. Every defensive player need to understand that you knock that ball to the ground. You don't go for interception. You try to spike that ball or send it into the stands.

Sometimes batting it you never know if you accidentally bat it and a receiver near by is at the right place at the right time.

Cal was undefeated going into the game, they're not great, but they're not awful like the haters here are saying.

JD Bertrand is a horrible lb, what a boneheaded play, that could of altered the outcome of the game. Every time he blitzes he gets ate up, and comes nowhere near the qb. He needs demoted to 2nd team

Lol ND lost to the later national champion in each of its playoffs appearances and NDs point difference was better then the Championship game loser. When they joined the ACC they made it to the championship game and beat Clemson in the regular season. And joining a Conference is that prestigious that teams leave their prestigious power “5” conferences to join the B10 or the SEC because not playing B10 and SEC teams all season long “results” in a “cupcake schedule”. Notre Dame has one of the toughest schedules in all of CFB this year with OSU, Clemson, a reloaded USC, BYU and North Carolina. So start hating ND when you have some reasonable arguments

I'm all for player safety & eliminating head injuries, but cause it was a hard clean hit doesn't make it illegal! That's a 6'3 LB on a 5'11 QB he can't lower himself anymore. McAulay is a renown idiot who the NFL kicked out cause of his stupidity and lack of reasoning That is not an illegal hit in the NFL. McAulay gave a fallacious explanation cause he's a complete halfwit.. it's only his lifelong reputation, but I'm sure Notre Dame fans will disagree with me

Cal got robbed. Truly. If you watched this game you know it. They suspended the ref that made that PHANTOM offsides call. One of the worst calls I've seen in years. And anyone talking trash about Cal can kick rocks. This team has heart and they're 3-1 right now. That freshman Ott is sure fun to watch.

Tommy Rees sucks as an OC. The offense can't get out of their own way and the defense couldn't stop water at the tap half the time. Gonna be a long season but they won so.....

When you step out on the field, you have a job to do. Through the first half, Drew Pyne did not do his job. He fumbled snaps, missed wide open receivers, etc. At this level, there's no sugar coating. You do your job or youre going to be held accountable. Them putting him back in was them showing him they trusted him.

I have watched ND play my team many times over the years and they gave us a good game a few years back but they usually are blown out. They have never beaten UGA never unless it happened when you are talking about in the 30"s or 40"s when they still used leather helmets.🤣🤣🤣
