Ken you have nothing to be ashamed of. He looked fine, but Seize The Grey had himself a day. Please take your horse to Saratoga.
I sort of had the feeling that whoever came in third was gaininig ground on the Mystic - a hundered more yards and he would have been in Third I guessing that of course.

Seize the Day waited till he committed to move outside then slowly broke his momentum down the stretch by veering out.
Mystic Dan was all out in the derby...know way was he able to pull of the preakness, longer track,...not mention they kept him out breezing several times since the derby..sure there is always hope....but not in the cards...Belmont is much longer track.....

the Preakness is a 1/8 mile shorter race than the KY Derby.

I think it was more sezie the gray just found another gear. Even Jerry bailey couldn't belive he carried that speed for a mile and 16th
