As good of a ride as you're ever likely to see. Keep seeing people saying he was lucky to get the rail. If you watch what he did down the back straight and as they approached the bend it was pure genius in the saddle.

Talk about a perfect ride! Nice horse, beat one of the toughest fields ever!

that last turn before the straight was a very sharp/tight turn, Auguste Rodin took it like on rail's.....what a brilliantly well balanced champion race horse he is,,,,🐎⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️

Great ride, but he had the confidence of a jockey who knew his horse would go through the gap, and had the gears to do it !

Up to The Mark Ran Great...First Time Way up in Distance and Against Top Turfers and.Had Some Trouble in Stretch But Came Right Back Again and Was Slowly Gaining on The Winner Who is a Top Euro Who Had a Golden Dream Trip

@@chrisp.9172 Was Only a Half Length and Rodin Was Ridden Hard to Wire...He Had The Better Burst to The Lead Though...Up to The Mark Made it Competitive First Time 12F....As a Bettor Taking Shots Surely Was Not a Great BC For You...Lot of Horses i am a Fan of Ran Great and My Lock of The Day Was 16-1...I Did Just Fine in Profit Along With Great Moments as a Fan

​@@jackwoods9604It wasn't luck he's just a far better rider than everyone and he knew they would swing off the bend the way he kept that horse balanced and skirted the paint was exceptional there was no luck about it, it was a superb piece of riding.

I always find it very funny when the Europeans comment on these races. When they win they’re better but when they lose it’s because the horse was tired or they raced him too soon leading up to the race. Example: Dancing Brave. Moore could never compete with Irad Ortiz. He was on a much better horse but out Ortiz on the winner and he wins by at least 5

I can’t disagree more. If you know horse racing you will know that Dancing Brave is one of the greats of the last 50 years. I was friends with with a bookmaker and we had long discussions before the derby. I thought he could win but Terry said it was Too fast and couldn’t get 12 furlongs. Turned out he could but in my opinion couldn’t go left handed at 100%. Harwood said he lost a lot of weight before the race.

@@ethanatworkdirt is not the pinnacle. I bet a lot of reasonable grass horses would be greats on dirt. Cigar is a good example. Some run on grass better and others don’t.

Your talking nonsense Moore never rode Dancing Brave ,and it's a fact European jockeys are equal to any jockeys in America

If the worlds best/experienced jockey RMoore was fined for whip use and winning(seems to be a trend in big races in many countries) - Then do away with the whip in races.

@@martinwalsh5513 The major point is that the times run in Norway were no worse and the incidents were no greater after the whip rule. It has nothing to do with the standard of horses in Norway, that is a separate conversation.

@martinwalsh5513 You are missing the point I am speaking about whip usage, performance and safety. None of which were impacted in Norway. Whips are allowed in 2yo races to correct the young horses that are still learning. Times? Try being a handicapper and doing it without times. Have horses gone slower in jurisdictions where whip use is restricted? I think not. Take care Sir

"winner" got hammered by older horses in Europe. Ace Impact would have annihilated "BC" winner.Utterly destroyed this monkey ! Ace Impact - by far the best 3 , 4 and 5 year plus, seen in a long time.This "winner" couldn't beat Ace Impact ! Absolute no chance, on levels.

We'll never know, he has a Group 1 at 2 years old under his belt as well as an Epsom/Irish Derby , an Irish Champion stakes and this race . Far more travelled than AI How far was AR in front of the Arc third here ???????????
