​@NalaRichenbach Bruh, yes the competition in this race was lacking a bit, but his time was under a full hand ride, my guy. Never once was this horse asked for anything in this race.

Chiron like burst of power takes the luster out of Kentucky Derby.

Nysos should be in the derby. By far, the best 3 year old horse this year. He will, in all liklihood, be the spoiler in either the Preakness or the Belmont this year.

And the freaking ointment would have NEVER made MS run faster. If you are going to say things, please check the facts and stop following the CD's band wagon. After all their favorite trainers have had violations far worse and have been in appeal process for 5 years so there is that and a 3-year suspension is absolute ridiculous

I doubt that....his time was for a claiming race and he had a nice fast pace set for him....all he passed were exhausted sprinters. LOL!

That horse might not be on the Triple Crown Trail, but definitely have to keep an eye on this horse on the Breeders Cup Trail.

When you race against claiming quality sprinters who are exhausted at the end....sure, you're going to look good but ridiculous. And easing down at the wire...what's that for...so the horse doesn't break it's legs if it has to extend itself any more than a few hundred yards. that was a horrible race. After what I experienced in the 60s, 70s and 80s...this race was awful. These are nothing more than stable ponies.

This is the closest rider I have ever seen to those guys back in the day . There's not another jockey I would allow to ride my horse 🐴🐴 than him.

The winner got the job done, but the field he beat is allowance quality at best.

He had a nice fast pace set for him and he ran against a bunch of plodders better suited to a $10,000 claiming race. and he ran in claiming race time. He's nothing special.

@@Steven-mk4gg Twenty-four and change is not a bad first quarter mile. It's not slow and it's not blazing. It's a good opening quarter. I know more about horse racing than you'll ever know or hear about. been a fan since the 1960s. We are not looking at the next Secretariat...this one is a flop...or will be retired soon.

It’s ridiculous that he’s not gonna be able to run in the derby. This way should win the Triple Crown.

Hey.. Man O War skipped the Derby and won the Preakness and the Belmont... Not bad company to be in if that in fact is his schedule ... would love him to come east.. all the prestige and historic races are in the East anyway... after the Belmont lets do the Travers ... maybe the Jockey club Gold Cup and then off to the BC. And then of course to the breeding shed!!

This is undoubtedly the best 3yo in the country by far he look like the next flightline...maymun is the second best 3yo in the country

It is too bad, but there are bigger fish to fry. The Derby is exhausting and an absolute slug fest with so many horses in it. It's hard for horses to come back strong. So maybe it's actually a blessing in disguise.

How easily fooled the Baffert groupies are. Mystick Dan ran the last 2 furlong in the Southwest stakes faster in a loner race on a muddy track than Nysos did on a perfect track with no competition. Nysos only looked great because the other horses were terrible. Also Mystick Dan annihilated the Baffert horse in that race who was favored by over 20 lengths.

@@renenadeau1410 Yes, they geared him down so he wouldn't break down. Good horses run through the wire because that's what good horses do. Nysos won't last long on the track. If they're gearing him down at the wire....there is a problem.

He beat absolutely nothing field. Lets wait until he actually beats a decent few horses at least before we crown him the next coming of Flightline 🙄.

What do you expect him to beat this early in his 3yo year? Horses at this age have pretty bare bones resumes, often having only 2-4 starts, so it's not like you can expect him to be facing a plethora of multiple GI winners. That's just an unfair criticism and entirely unrealistic. Wait until later in the year before throwing that kind of knock. What you want to watch for this early in their careers is the WAY they do it. This horse moves beautifully and has a great mind, which is a good sign of things to come.

Too bad for Churchill, a bunch of bullies. I hope they regret their decision, I would like to thank the owners of Baffert horses to hold their ground and didn’t let Churchill dictate what they do to their horses. This horse will guarantee there will be no triple crown this year.

These horses don't run often enough for anyone to truly determine who is the best. You cannot say that about any of them....they race too infrequently. there is absolutely no way to decipher who is the best 3 year old anymore....NOT when they race 4 or 5 times. It's impossible to make that determination today. they do not race enough. Period!!!

Nysos is no body those horse 🐎 junkyard he win like that because was no body in the race supposed to win by 30 length for me is a Nono he will finish last in the derby
