i'll admit, after watching game 4 against the leafs, i thought that this was the worst Montreal playoff team i had ever seen, thinking it's over in 5. i don't know what happened in games 5,6, and 7. but what a turnaround. all the so called experts never gave the Habs much of a chance in game 5. Boy are they all wrong.they are playing a great team game. GO HABS GO.

Crazy how these refs influenced the game in a positive way, they took control and let the players know right off the bat they’ll call penalties by calling one on each side. The players finally played a game not trying to rip each other’s heads off. What a game, now that’s hockey!!

I was happy with that. A few big things they missed, like a Vegas player sitting on the ice with an arm wrapped around Toffoli's leg, and the usual non-call slashes, but still, I like when it's not so bad that I learn the names of the refs.

@@MrBananaCheeks i mean it happens, as long as it doesn’t influence the game and creates an escalation of things I’m fine with it. Overall they did such an amazing shot compared to the other we had for this series, I had to mention it.

Canadiens have faith youth will continue to grow in playoff spotlight When you’re as young as Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield, every day represents an opportunity. Part of the reason why the Montreal Canadiens have managed to play into the summer is the life those players have brought to the lineup, and the way they’ve been able to grow through challenges during this extended playoff run. The Stanley Cup Final arrived with the biggest challenge yet: A regular matchup with the Nikita Kucherov-Brayden Point-Ondrej Palat line, at least for the games here at Amalie Arena where Lightning head coach Jon Cooper controls last change.

Sucks my Knights didn’t win but hats off to Montreal. That’s pretty cool to make it after 28 years. Im a Las Vegas native born and raised and soooo am proud to have a team to get so far every year in only 4 seasons but we just didn’t show up for this series. Great game and a true nailbiter that probably took a few years off my life watching.

Before the series started I said Knights in 4. When the Nordiques won the 2nd game I said Knights in 5. When they won the 3rd game I opined Knights in 6. Now I know it will be Knights in 7. They are toying with the Quebecers, knowing they can put on the afterburners anytime they want. This will make it a much more heartbreaking loss for the eventual losers because the Diens think they have a chance to win. They don't.

I hear you but it would have to be Knights in 9. You folk should realize I’m trolling to get the Habs and their fans fired up. I wrote these parodies to incite comment which I then showed to my folk some who are Knight fans some not. I’m a Hawks fan but they were less than mediocre this year so I’ve got nothing to cheer for. I would like nothing more than an Island French Canada final just to keep the higher ranked teams out. Anyway, thanks for the commentary.

I just knew that if the refs were going to “take control” they would START by penalizing the team that’s recieved three times as many penalties as the other
