Agreed. This judge, as well as the judge for the non-sporting group, really did stand out. A little personality and appreciation of the animals and handlers goes a long way.

I hate how some owners/handlers practically lift the dog off it's front legs with the leash. 🤨🤬

The third dog the Pomeranian was so cute with personality did her twirls and warmed my heart. She should have placed for sure!

I can see that, but she seemed fine during her set-down and walk. Perhaps it's just the environment. Upon viewing again, I wonder if the leash was bothering both of them!

He told the I.G. handler to hurry up and then immediately demanded “Not too fast.”

The judge always has a good word to the dog..and this is important as these dogs usually know they are being judged by him. He really cares for each dog..kind!

I like the way he was good with the dogs but a little bit short with the owners. Or the handlers I mean. He didn't want them messing around. I don't blame him.

All the dogs were adorable. Its such a personal thing I know as we are all drawn to different breeds. I found myself being drawn to the Italian Greyhound, English Toy Spaniels but my fav which I was surprised by was the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Out of all the dogs, I thought it had a great temperment, was the most relaxed and confident in its owner.

They are all so dang CUTE!!!

Not a toy breed person but the silky was stinkin cute! 😍

It’s funny, I was watching this with my 5 month old Shih Tzu in the room yesterday and I helped her celebrate that one of her kind won best dog of the group.

We recently adopted a 14 year old Chin. Sweetest guy ever🥰 Reminds me of one of my Cavaliers I had. I'm not sure how long we will have with him, but he is in good health for a 14 year old!

That dog baying in the background of most if the groups being judged should have been brought out, he doesnt sound very happy and that's a long time for him to just be vocalizing in a crate ringside, stressed out. You can hear him doing it continuously through more than a few of the groups...

Dogs teeth are breed specific, they are checking that it's correctly positioned and make sure the dogs not missing teeth.
