I like how the Judge tells each Handler "congratulations". We get to see the end results of thousands of hours of grooming, breeding, showing, and training these great dogs in the working group. Any single dog could walk away as a winner in this class, but we like to see that one minute quality that makes the "best." We are very lucky indeed.

i like how the judge tells the old fat ladies to run around the ring. we get to see the cankles bouncing as result of thousands of cheeseburgers and milkshakes. any old lady could have a heart attack. we are very lucky indeed

look at that Cane Corso's focus. Dawg came in to win.

They are all gorgeous. I would hate to be the judge and make only one the winner. They all deserve 1st place. Some of these dogs I have never heard about but they were stunning.

Each dog is so beautiful and is so much to be proud of! Congratulations!

They are all so well behaved. I feel a deep sense of pride when watching these dogs and they're not even mine! Praise to the owners.🐾💕🐾

Right that's a good way to explain it I was feeling surprisingly emotional too so proud of these dogs and all the emotion that goes into these competitions, the obvious Bond and trust between the handler and the dog you know the dogs feel how important it ist they take it seriously and they're doing it for US cuz I'm sure if left to their own devices they won't be having a dog show lol. We barely deserve dogs they are such wonderful souls

dogue de Bordeaux’s have the biggest head in proportion to their body out of all breeds. 💗 they are the best dogs (in my opinion), I love mine more than anything

⚫️That Great Dane was just 🔥🖤!!! His personality really shined because he noticed his environment and had those intelligent looking eyes. I wished Great Dane would of won, he looked so healthy. And also the Burmese mountain dog was so sweet ❤!

I loved the Great Dane! He was 100% focused. It was cute at the end when he thought he was called out for the short list lol. The handler was like "No not you sorry bud!"

We have two Bernese Mountain Dogs. They are sweet.

The subtitles are hysterical. "Come in door" for Komondor and "Like a girl" for Laekenois.

There are so many working breeds that despite being bred for hard jobs they are sweet & gentle the thick soft fur making them perfect for cuddling. 😌

I love them all. I really like the Pyrenees. Lovely, every one. The Comandore is quite funny. So responsive to people.

The Komondor was gorgeous!

I had a Newfoundland-the neighbors thought he was a bear. He will always be missed. I have a mini Schnauzer. Of all my dogs and cats, the Schnauzer is the highest energy and strongest will. He met his match. These are beautiful dogs. I would love to have them all.

All of these dogs have so much history and ability between all of them.

The good news is that to be at national general competitions, they’ve already won best in breed many times! 😉

That Sammy is perfect. I've had two and they are still my favorite breed of big dog.

Rottys are wonderful dogs. Loyal, sweet, and always by your side. They'll always protect you and your family too.

That's so hard to say. It's a beautiful dog but I wish they didn't come white. The Doberman is gorgeous that Corso was gorgeous. And frankly if there's a working line German Shepherd or an ex herder which obviously don't complete in dog shows because they're not purebreds, working line German shepherd, Dutch shepherd, and Belgian Malinois mix, you're not going to find a better looking dog. Black Sable or solid black working line German Shepherds look very wolfy and are stunning

There used to be a dobie in my neighborhood and he was such a doofus! 😂 He was afraid of our cat and would hide under his parents bed when they brought their vacuum out 😝 It's always guard dogs that tend to be the most chill and afraid of weird things!

I have two Tibetans and let me tell you, having one behave in this manner is a feat in and of itself. The announcer seriously underwhelmed with the story of the Tibetan Mastiff who has one of the most interesting and regal histories as a breed.

My daughter and I had Samoyeds for some time - awesome dogs! Beautiful, too. I'd hoped a Sam would win, but no luck :(.

The judge is supposed to be judging the dog on its own merit. Names contain kennel designators and indicate breeder or owner.

I keep looking at the big dogs, but we had a Pekingese I adopted when her mistress passed away and she was full of attitude. I'm going to have a hard time finding a shelter dog eventually, but I don't need a purebred dog at this point. Just a sweet friendly companion..

This is my Thanksgiving tradition... always fun to watch the dogs!

Really? The dogue day Bordeaux looks very bizarre, strange, unhealthy.. the Doberman Pinscher and Dogo and Corso looks much more intimidating and imposing. unfortunately Dovermans temperaments have really suffered with poor breeding practices. For a soldier, a working line German Shepherd, Dutch shepherd, and Malinois mix is the definition. Or just a purebred working line German shepherd. Not going to find a better Soldier or a more beautiful dog for that matter

Although the Standard Schnauzers seem to be getting smaller and smaller each year, I think the 45 to 50lbs dogs are more representative of the breed. This one's almost a mini.

the standart Schauzer female is very beautiful we used to have such dogs and called them Mittel Schauzer This here is outstanding pretty

So sad to see the dogs' ears clipped. I used to have three Irish Wolfhounds. Won third at Crufts" with one.

This is one of the worst closed captioning I've ever seen. You would think they would have someone with knowledge of the breeds doing the captioning. The phrase " down and back" is repeated by the judge over and over but the captioner still gets it wrong most of the time. Unbelievable!

Loved the samoyed and doberman the most. But overall all very nice dogs.

I showed dogs in my youth but haven't been around shows for many years. I am shocked that they are still cropping ears, which has been illegal in Europe, where even docking tails has been banned as cruel and unnecessary.

People have the right to prefer a certain look in their favorite breeds. No dog that's been cropped and docked has been psychologically traumatized; it's just a little temporary pain that is managed with medication. Pain is unavoidable in life - it doesn't psychologically scar the dog, so stop thinking of this procedure as such a big deal and stop humanizing dogs. Surgical sterilization is a more invasive procedure and no one talks about that as something that needs to be banned. Again, people have the right to own a dog that looks the way they want. I hope the US and all the other countries that still allow cropping and docking never, ever ban these procedures.

I don’t how anyone could choose. Love the working dogs. I personally have had a Boxer, Rottie and an English Mastiff. Would like to own a Pyrenees, Bernese or Kangal.

I would love it if you guys did the same thing this year and put the show on KZread! I’m working on Thanksgiving so unfortunately I have to miss part of the show😢

I have beautiful doberman's . Just wonderful companions, protectors, watchers, playful, loving, curious, and an all around great breed.
