You could tell through the entire race that Cyberknife was running nice and easy- jock was practically standing in the stirrups, had plenty of horse underneath him. When he asked for his kick, he responded perfectly.

Dream trip for cyberknife not sure he replicates that today.
This was a superb ride on Cyberknife and you can clearly see a horse who was staying on very well at the 9fur distance.Sure sign of maturity and running light out when ask to the task.I always gave Cyberknife and MoDonegal (best) the most excuses in the Kentucky Derby. This track was smoking really well under the heat condition.Monmouth park is really fast this time of the year, which was really perfect for the tracking style of Cyberknife.
Taiba looks like he is not happy down inside and behind horses. He was completely off the bit until Mike got him outside. Horse has immense talent to rally wide after that and just miss. Hope they meet again.

I second that too..he was coming back and had they have a bit more distance, Taiba wins..he was gaining despite the ferocious finish of Cyberknife. Maybe Taiba doesn’t like running inside. If you notice just before entering the far turn, before Cyberknife enters the inside rail and overtakes Taiba, Taiba’s jockey is pushing really hard but Taiba continues to struggle but the moment his jockey switched to the outside, Taiba just sweeps his opponents with the exception of Cyberknife.

Jack Christopher's pop Munnings was a 6-7 furlong type, and it's not like the dam's side had a lot to balance that out, so this was an experiment. J Christopher is not an outlier for Munnings, he's the norm. A really fast norm.

Still think he can get the two turns in the BC dirt mile, his prep was only 7f, then asked to go 2turns 1mi. 1/8, all at once! How many times you see a horse try 2turns, fade, then improve on the 2nd try around 2turns....

It just seems like they have ruined White Abarrio. At one point, he appeared to be a Kentucky Derby contender, but their refusal to run him anywhere but 5 lengths wide every turn every race has destroyed the horse's competitiveness. Most horses love to race; I've seen them turn into the stretch where you can just see their attitude, "I'm gonna run that SOB down!", or, "Aint nobody getting past me!" It is a sad truth that some break down but that happens in human sports also -- the difference being that humans (usually) do not get put down. Sure the sport can do better and it appears that finally some ground is being made on the drugging. But the Sport of Kings has been around for millennia and it will outlast today's millennials.
