@@11SEXMACHINE Great run that day for Swiss Skydiver but Authentic wins that race if it had gone another .5 furlongs. The shorter Preakness run benefitted her.

Beautiful Authentic-- to wire a field like this, in under 2:00- is just phenominal-- His last gear down the stretch-- is a sign of a great Horse-- I miss him racing at 4, but sons & daughters hopefully running in 2022 and 2023. Thanks for 2020 - you were #1.

Good horses don't race at age 4. Horses are no longer bred to be raced. They are raced to be bred.

Johnny V called Authentic the best horse he's ever ridden, "by far". "Never ridden a horse that good before" I think that says it all.

You can't beat what you can't catch! This is a truly gifted racehorse. I've been on him since his Sham victory, saw his raw talent then. So athletic, so fast. What remarkable training once again by Mr Baffert, first in the derby and to keep him on his game thru three grueling races! Unfortunately one of these races wasn't called the Belmont, but in my book his performances in his last three races come close to a triple crown.. This is the best three year old in the country and HORSE OF THE YEAR! 2020

Thank you Andy serling for finally seeing that maximum security was held back to help authentic the rail was open but Luis did not take it that is not normal he took the rail after authentic was too far ahead he broke just as fast as authentic

Now that is a front runner! He got the lead and he kept it the entire time. That's impressive

This horse would have won the Triple Crown

to be honest no one really knows what Authentic can do, He is just really starting to mature as a racehorse but was retired because he will make more breeding than racing without the chance of getting injured in a race. I'm part owner of Authentic and honestly I have never seen him go all out in a race yet. This was the first race I've seen him stay focused start to finish without jumping shadows or looking around.

@@jared4179 we know in part but he is just starting to mature enough mentally to stay focused on the business of running and not playing games on the track looking around and ducking shadows, would have been nice to see him go to the Pegasus World Cup or the Saudi Cup but I understand why he is retired as well.

Johnny Velasquez hizo una monta perfecta Authentic. Lo dejaron ir y les robó la carrera. No le pusieron presión a Authentic en los primeros 1,200 metros de carrera. Esa fue la clave del triunfo. Wow, made it look like so effortlessly.

Maximum Security's stripe on his face is shaped like a 7. I think this horse was born special to have that marking on his face.

Baffert 1-2 great performance by Authentic. Maximum Security doesn't look the same horse anymore though, was beaten by the last turn. Tiz the law hopefully will be back next season.

Max can but his stupid jockey pulled him up when he should have given max his head. So body new how fast max could really go and now we never will

Tbh, Tiz The Law could've had a chance if his jockey didn't hold him back that much. He got locked in and had no where to move as soon as they turned to the last curve. Great job Authentic, you never fails us. Have a great retirement life. ☺️

His jockey didn’t do what was instructed of him. Tiz’s trainer was very upset with Manny after the race, he said that Manny should have been right there with Authentic. So now, Tiz has a new jockey, the great Johnny Velazquez who might I add rode Authentic in the Classic

Yo estaba en Puerto Rico cuando Angel Cordero lo convencìa para que dejara el Hipòdromo en Puerto Rico y se viniera a NY...Johnny se tomò un tiempito...pero vino al fin còn Cordero....y hoy està listo para el salòn de la fama...buena decisiòn haber empacado maletas. Se vieron muy buenas carreras hoy...unos cuantos records se rompieron.

Even before the BC Classic I stated that Authentic was the most talented horse in the field. I also think he's the most talented horse since American Pharoah, putting him even ahead of Justify.

Should have been much lower, but the hype was still on tiz the law even if Authentic had already beaten him

The winner was allowed to dictate the pace earlier on, but it seems he was faster than everyone else. I guaranteed that had he came under early pressure he'd have lost the race, but Baffert other horse finished second.

I love Maximum Security… just had a off day🙃

The internet speed is so slow that I could open any page or sote. Therefore I have taken it aside with all of its excited things.

I was locked in on the dirt races this breeders cup weekend. The turf races were a mess for me But the classic was the one race on the card that looking back on I shouldn’t of missed. Authentic was simply to fast for anyone else and when he gets to the lead its over. Totally misjudge how fast this beast is congratulations on your win. I had tiz the law over improbable global campaign & max security.

Love Authentic and so proud of him as I am a partial owner. But my heart goes out to Maximum Security and his connections, what was happening to him was absolutely disgusting. Its heartbreaking to realize that he wasn't the same horse. Hope Jason Servis, Jose Nevarro, and everyone else involved all live miserable lives.

@@Evy_Holat his trainer (Jason Servis) and about 25/30 trainers and vets were caught doping horses with a performance enhancing drug that was undetectable on drug tests. Maximum Security was likely doped his whole career (including Kentucky Derby and Saudi Cup) until transferred to Baffert's barn. It's devastating and he was really never the same :(

1: He’s with a diff trainer now cause his old trainer got in trouble and arrested for using illegal PEDs on his horses. 2. His old trainer probably uses PEDs on him, so now that he isn’t with that trainer, he’s different

For important races, horses should compete on turf, not on sand track.

This marred an otherwise great weekend of racing.

Lo que mencione lo hice despues de la negativa de los dueños dd tiz the law se negaron a participar en la segunda gema. y lo que pronostique se cumplio amigo. Soy del país conocido como cuna de los mejores jinetes del mundo. En el hpodromo de mi país decimos experiencia mata tiempo. Yo gane ese día con swisskydiver 👍👍😆 lo de tiz the law siempre dije que no era para triple coronarse en el Belmont stake gano con ventaja ... Franco has to go. Their own fault for keeping Franco on Tiz, a better jockey more experienced would make a huge difference.

This is not the same Maximum Security we saw last year. I don’t buy into all the drug hype it just that Jason Servis put all his efforts in getting MS ready, Buffett is spread too thin.

I completely agree. I've watch horse racing for most of my life and that jockey has the most extended whip action I've ever seen. It stands out while watching the video. Can't imagine an owner putting that guy on their horse.

Andddd pretty much all the top horses in this race will never race again. Horse racing sure is something. I know Authentic has like 5000 owners or something so they are counting dollar bills as they usher him off to make babies before he even reaches his peak as a horse. That’s just what the sport is at this point. It’s not even a sport. Merely a business for those with stakes in the animals. Once they get any good - they’re gone. It’s all money.
