@@pedrub5706 Yeah the format nullifies the men's advantage in speed, and makes the goalkeepers look good. Wrexham, the team that beat Say word 8-1 and the women 12-0, lost in the first round of the playoffs to Conrad & Beasley United 4-3. So, the Women were hopelessly outclassed in a format that really should suit them. Unfortunately football/soccer as a game really highlights the physical differences between men and women. Burst speed, co-ordination, agility, and power/mass are highly significant, and even a small difference can be exploited to gain a large superiority, that no amount of technical ability can make up.

Greatest moment in the history of equity of sports. The announcers were so biased it was hilarious to listen to the pandering. The girls should look for a U 11 tournament next. I will give kudos to that poor goalie who now has PTSD

That's not it at all. I'm very anti-sjw but when a team is doing getting hammered you generally become nicer to them and hope they get something. That's just common sense and humanity. Furthermore, the women actually were in many ways more skilled in some ways than the men here, but the physical strength and speed of the men meant they won every ball so the women couldn't do anything. So considering all this yes I would be nice to the women as well.

A light-bulb just went off in my head - ohhhhhhh, NOW I get it! I always WONDERED why they had separate men's and women's sports teams. I always thought it was just because of the, you know, awkward locker-room stuff. Boy do I feel stupid!

What most people dont realize is that these guys were playing maybe at 40-50%. You can tell they arnt going full bore. They were being gentlemen, but they did a dis service. Every team should have played like it was a championship game. Full tilt. Games would have been over in 15-20 min with a ton of injuries, but i think that needed to happen.

They have absolutely not chance in this tournament.

So they paid to get in the tournament to get smashed 17-0 in two games? LOL

I love how the goalie violently throws herself down to the ground as some sort of exercise in futility. Because it's certainly not an exercise in getting in front of the ball. It's like she wants to earn points for the attempt, not the outcome.

Have refused to watch Football (soccer for US people) for almost 10 years, but watched a lot while i was younger, and the "penalty" aruond 6:54 was a gift by the referee. At least when i watched or played Football, you would not be awarded a penalty for both players hitting the ball and one player falling over.

Props to the men for holding back, because if they kick the ball at full power, it can be very dangerous. There was a transgender woman playing volleyball and the spike was at normal power (for a man), but that sent the woman to the hospital. That's why we need 2 categories: women and men, it's not just because of the scores, but for safety reasons as well.

Actually in the US it's not separated by men and women. It's "Open category" and "Women's category," meaning if any woman is good enough to compete against men they can actually play in the open category (incorrectly referred to as the men's category). I wonder why they don't...

I find it so stunning and brave that these women took it upon themselves to show why there shouldn’t be equal pay in sports

There should be equal pay. 5th tier men's club soccer players should be paid the same as the women's national team. Or actually at least double.

TBF having watched some women's football, usually the keeper only saves the shot if it hit's her. So, actually she was fairly good by women's standard IMHO

And actually add "smarter" as well at least when it comes to scientific comparison of male brain. to women when it comes to calculation speed of thrown objects. Men are much better faste/more accurate in their mental assessments of where a moving ball is going and when it will get there. Its in scientific journal papers

@@jpslaym0936 I’ve always said that a part of the problem with men vs women in soccer or sports in general isn’t even just the speed or power difference. It’s what you said. It’s the reactions. A big thing I’ve noticed when I’ve watched women’s soccer which I think people don’t think about is just how slow they are to react to the ball.

They had to make it 5-0 limited so we won't get another double digit game. This demonstrates our biological differences between men and women.

Need to be some rule changes to make the games fairer. Like if a man kicks a ball and it hits a women's team member the men's team is disqualified. Or let the women play an additional 5 min after the men have left the field to have an opportunity to make of the scoring differential. Or maybe every time a woman touches the ball her team gets a point.

and this was their best match out of the 3 matches.

The game was super close if wasn't for the 17 to 0 in those two game 😂

They cut the game time to 40 minutes total. The 12-0 nothing was terrible for current agendas. Had to keep the score lower. Not to mention these dudes were awful or only gave 20% effort.

I’m looking forward to NBC’s coverage on the Rugby Women vs Men, then UFC and Athletics etc. It’s going to be so entertaining.

How many games was this tournament?

Former players who were the best in the world at their game. Go up against average men’s teams to get thrashed. Maybe not the best way to honor your legacy. They have nothing to prove playing against men, I hope they still have fun. Maybe their participation can encourage the TST to have a separate women’s tournament next year. If the only way women can take part is to play in the men’s tournament (the mixed tournament actually), you will keep seeing only 0-1 women’s teams per year. For reasons easy to understand.

Well, that team even got it. They are paid the same as the men now (the difference coming literally out of the men's salary) AND they still have the employed status with all benefits (health insurance, paid even if they don't play, maturnity leave, etc.) which the men never had. With the help of the media they woke bullied the national organization to give them that deal.

I feel one thing not talked about enough in this game was the absolute lack of physocality.. While the man shot hard and played at good pace, you practically never see them shove opponent players. You can only see at 5:32 a slight push with barely any power behind. It is indeed a foul since ce extended his arm but no male player would fall because of that unless maybe if they were in penalty area and wanted to dive. This happens to be the case at 6:51 were again there barely any contact and there is no power behind it. For me this should never be a penalty and looks like a dive, but since it's a woman I actually can't be sure if this actually was enough to make her fall or if she just dived.

We need more men vs women sports, I haven't been this entertained in months

Women just started landing quads. Gymnastics only have two shared events- floor exercise and vault. There have been vids of male gymnasts doing womens events. I don't know how the young ladies would do on pommel horse or rings. More fair competiition would be chess or poker where they are open to all. Tbh, I think many mens professional sports are open to women.

I think the ONLY sports, at the highest level, that women compete directly (and sometimes evenly) with men are: certain equestrian events, and high-fuel drag racing (a woman was US champion). Period. NOT "gymnastics and ice skating", by the way. Or am I wrong?
