Why can't this channel avoid spoiling the races!?!?!? 🤬USA Swimming just posted this exact race and they only said in the video title that Ledecky and McIntosh went the fastest in the race and that a CR was set, but didn't spoil the winner. Fun fact: Katie Ledecky and Erin Gemmell swam in the same summer league in Montgomery County, MD and Erin broke Katie's freestyle county records.

Ledecky's best race is the longer ones now...the 1500 she reigns supreme!

I don't know who the sports commentator is at this competition, but he definitely doesn't want to give McIntosh what she deserves... McIntosh has a better position in the water, and more economical stroke...Generaly speaking, she was simply better.

McCintosh DID NOT "sneak past" Ledecky: she was ahead of the American ALL the way. Show some fair play, American commentators...

According to the American dictionary; SNEAKS (verb); to be blown out of the water, as in McIntosh sneaks by Ledecky, beating her by almost two body-lengths.

Good swim by Mc Intosh looking Low and Stream-Lined in the water, Katie Ledecky does well in this a sprint event for second place 🙂👍

Most of swimming commentators are ignorant of the sport and or the history /timesaving all other relevant swimming stats. They are there simply because they won a race 40 yrs ago.
