The slow motion is the only way I saw how she curled/tucked her whole body to fit into that second twist. If she was elongated, Idk how she would have enough time for the transition out of the rotation - lots of words for WOW!!

That’s just the thing. She is NOT young, in terms of gymnastics. Gymnasts usually age out of the sport by age 25 and are certainly not developing or honing their craft as they approach 30. Ms. Biles’ powerful little body is 27 years old! She was already incredible 11 years ago. For her to keep it up and keep changing it up is beyond the beyond.

I am 66 y/o. Watched my first Olympics when Nadia Comaneci was a star. I was amazed and told my mom I wanted to do that. My mother said "Do you see any Black girls on that team?" I am so proud of all these young Black women who are doing what I wasn't allowed or encouraged to do. Especially Simone. But I haven't forgotten Gabby Douglas either, remember?
