Referees also missed an obvious delay of game on Perron in the 2nd that resulted in him scoring two goals in under 3 minutes. Two goals that were scored by a Blues player who should have been sitting in the penalty box. Cry all you want Blues, you had two and a half minutes to score on an empty net but instead iced the puck twice missing the open net, keeping your team on the ice with heavy legs, then giving up the tying goal with :59 remaining in the 3rd. If the Blues did a better job the last two minutes all this is a mute point.

That was a missed call for sure but get the facts straight! His "delay of game" penalty would have been with 8:30 left in the period and his first goal was at 4:59 left. By then he would have served his penalty. That being said, the Blues should have killed it off in regulation! For me, Pietrangelo's second icing was even worse than Schwartz missing the empty net.

I can understand the official near the goal get mentally distracted by a possible hooking call on Meier or the hand pass hitting off of a Blues player. At the end of the day, there were 3 other officials. They could've at least gave the Blues coach or the crowd an explanation before going off the ice.

If you think about it, everything that's happened for the Sharks since this has been retribution. Happy elimination day to all those who celebrate!

Blues fan here. Dallas was definitely out most challenging series. The Blues never really outplayed Dallas at any point. Each goal was scored by chance. This is one series that if you did over again, the winner would come out 50/50. It could’ve gone either way.

It all evens out in the end folks. Stop your crying Blues! Perron should not have been on the ice when he scored his goal; he should have been in the penalty box. Take away his goal for the missed call, and the game wouldn't have gone to overtime. Sharks would have won with no overtime. See how the hockey gods make things balance in the end? Take a laxative and trust the gods!

Hey guess what. Bouwmeester knocked over his own goalie with his stick. If he doesn't do that Binnington makes an easy save. Missed calls happen, but the Blues had plenty of opportunity to win regardless and didn't take it.

Not a hand pass! A player is allowed to knock the puck down so he can play it. You can see that Meier lunges after the puck with his stick after he knocks it down but he may have missed. If he were trying a hand pass then why would he try to play it with his stick? The real blown call was the missed delay of game by the Blues, that was totally obvious

@@photogold33 A bit late, and congrats on San Jose choking again, but no. No player touched it after the hand pass. Watch it very very slowly, and you will see that. Even if that's not enough proof, after the hand pass, and after the puck hits the ice, it is flipping end over end backwards, and does not change at all until the puck hits the ice the second time, and then clearly is only touched by Nyquist. If the puck was touched at all it would not keep the same flipping motion. So to recap, it was a hand pass, Nyquist was the first to touch it, no one else could have touched it, the goal should not have counted. Hope this helps.

Yeah, the trip should've been called, but that doesn't grant them a hand pass lol. Delayed penalty should've been called, the hand pass would've happened, it would've been blown dead, and the sharks would've had a power play in their zone. I don't get what the crying is for.

And also, look at it yourself. Slow the video down to a quarter of the speed and you can clearly see that the puck never changed direction, and was flipping end over end backwards the whole time. Do you see that? Good. Congrats. You're better than the NHL refs.

@@jamals4045 The Vegas major was the right call. Rule 59.3: A major penalty, at the discretion of the referee based on the severity of the contact, shall be imposed on a player who “cross checks” an opponent.

Nyquist was behind the goal line. Meier didn't even hit the puck that way. Meier hit the puck toward the slot AND it hit Booumeester, then Nyquist chased it down. No hand pass.

1, slow the video down and watch it. The puck didn't change direction, and was flipping end over end backwards after the hand pass and it hit the ice, and did so until it hit the ice the second time. If it was even barely touched in any way, it wouldn't be flipping that way. So no, no one touched it. And 2, are you a hockey fan? So you actually watch hockey and no the rules? A hand pass doesn't mean that he passed it to a player on his team. It just means that he knocked it out of the air, and neither he nor the Blues touched the puck first. That's only allowed in their defensive zone. So no, no one touched it. Yes, it was a hand pass. No, the goal should not have counted.

Wasn’t a hand pass. It bounced off the knee of the St Louis player. You can see the trajectory change. Also, the refs missed the trip that caused Meier fall to his knees in the first place. The result of this game. The refs refused to call headshots & other penalties against the Blues outta fear to be seen “favoring” the Sharks, or worse, lose their jobs like these refs. So they called nothing & several Shark players got injured in game 5, causing them to lose game 5 & game 6. The Blues are a bunch of cheapshot dirty players, & should have NEVER won the Stanley Cup!! The way they targeted Erik Karlsson because they knew he was injured until they knocked him out of the series was reprehensible!!!
