    @@baby-rockyy 21s, most pros running sub 45s in 400m are faster than him in the 200m, he has one of the biggest differences between 200m and 400m I've ever seen, quite impressive actually, he must have crazy speed endurance

    For reference, Usain Bolt refused to train for the 400m because it was too hard. Quite possibly the most difficult race someone can run and it’s a 100 and 200m sprinter at that 🙌

    @@nohands6865 For reference, it's pretty obvious you've never run track considering running 2 laps and 1 lap is completely different. The turns are much slower and if they both ran of this track, bolt in HS would not have ran a faster time.

    It’s insane that he can switch for 100 to 400. I’ve never heard of this kind of range in a pure gold, record 100 sprinter !!! Crazy thing is, if you divide that by 4, that’s a 100 time that would win most races.

    @@AeroMyth I think Fred had a problem where world athletics wouldn't let him. Maybe I'm wrong but I remember seeing some thread of him saying that he doesn't care about the actual meet but the fact that it's become some sort of tryout for olympics was messed up cuz he's been getting shut down every time he's tried to be on the champs 4x4 all the way since last Olympics. Remember he's the 8th fastest 4 runner, u can't be wasting talent like that

    Allyson Felix has run the 4x1 and 4x4 at the Olympics although not in the same year. I say team USA should put Noah Lyles on the relay. You can put him 2nd or 3rd leg in the qualifying round and leave your top guns for the finals, he still gets a medal.

    If wants to break the 200m wr he should consider running more 400m even in the outdoor season at least 2 competitive 400m at the beginning then 1 mid season to keep that speed endurance at peak.

    He's not pushing, they often post up like that as they wait to get the baton. Rules are the position of those waiting for the baton should match the place of the teammates in the race.

    He has literally ran the 400 since highschool I know because I ran with him alternating between first and Anchor if he wanted he would be the best 400 runner in the US he just don’t care to run it all the time

    It’s no surprise that he can do this granted I am no Olympian but I did sprint and 200m and 400m along either both relays ( 4x100/ 4x400) were my events. 200m workouts consisted of repeat 200m even 300m but the endurance always ended with 400ms after those 😂

    I see the dudes at the end fighting for position.. i propose they ACTUALLY have to fight for position.. only the person who doesnt get knocked out can be hamded a baton to finish the race. Would sure add an element of excitement to the sport 🤔

    I think the Belgian runner was right. The American runner was so far to the side that the Belgian couldn't stand in lane 2.
