Even a lot of die hard "Bad Boyz" fans will agree with that. But the Pistons were better than the Bulls for 3 straight years, 1988-1990. That's just the way it was. Get over it.

I'm now beginning to see john salley change opinions thru interviews but I guess I stl like him

John is wrong but doesn't want to throw players under the bus. Magic, Michael, and Bird didn't want Isiah on the Dream Team.

John Sally is one of the first people besides myself pointing out the Dream Team had it's guard positions filled with certain talented players that all complimented each others strong points and sellability to the world public you didn't want to promote the Bad Boy image remember how everyone was worried about how Charles Barkley was going to be welcomed by the other countries because he was also a kinda bad guy but he was always cool afterwards even when he lost his only finals chance against the Bulls if they thought they needed Isaiah Thomas to win he would have been on the team but look at the guards on the Dream Team and ask yourself who would you replace with Isaiah and you can't pick Laettner he's a forward and the token college player since that was the first year using pro players so Isaiah didn't make it because he wasn't needed period..

The Dream Team won every game by like 50 points. They didn't need Isiah. The only bad pick was Laettner, but it didn't make them any worse.

I wish Salley would have said the truth about what Jordan said back then...he disrespected the Pistons, who beat the Bulls asses in year in year out for 5 years. the Pistons were champs. Period.

John gives BS interviews... he has no consistencies... one interview he disses Jordan.... he said they can easily stop Jordan during the Pistons days as champs

he clearly says on the VLAD TV interview that jordan is not his GOAT

Pistons "Bad Boys" always say everyone played that way. Then why did EVERYONE, HATE them? Because if everyone played that way, why would they all be unified in their contempt for the Pistons? Nah. Bad Boys were a bunch of azzholes and made it personal out on the court.

John Salley gets more attention than any other mediocre former NBA player. He shows up everywhere like he was a star player. He seems smart but he tells a lot of lies to cover for his "friends".
