I don’t think a lot of people understand just how remarkable this is. Horses, especially hot breeds like thoroughbreds, are easily frightened by unusual objects, including wheelchairs. That a young thoroughbred stallion is so strikingly connected to Cody is otherworldly.

Cody’s Wish understood the task and delivered! ❤

I just watched him win a race today. My mom and I were bawling the whole time.

Cody passed away after seeing Cody's Wish win his final race and retire this weekend. 😢 Sending love and comfort to the Dorman family ❤

It has to be the best story of the races this year! Hands down! Watching them win and watching the story is truly heart warming! Why!? Cause its true love! And a lot of owners have lost that connection with their horses!

In the world of racehorses, yes. I venture to guess, quite a few have never so much as seen or touched the horse/s they own.

Amazing how God can impress upon a horse to walk up to a child who needs him and literally change his life. Sometimes life really stinks but then you see things like this and are reminded that sometimes the little things matter the most.

So many tears of joy watching Cody's Wish WIN 😂. A Wonderful horse that shows how special & loving feelings of horses really are,, & healing connections with Cody , a very special person.😊

I've never rooted for a horse this much; it's as if this magnificent animal knew he HAD to win to not let this young man down!

Why to go Cody’s wish. That was one of the best races I’ve seen . The story behind Cody’s wish is very much up lifting and it shows how much love there is between kid and horse and the miracle that happens when you have just a little faith and that faith turns into something special a blessing to help others believe that dreams do come true with the blessings of all that take part in helping others receive their wish.

How truly beautiful. How Cody's Wish instantaneously bonded with Cody is amazing. A miracle? You decide. I believe God's hand was with Cody the day they met. Jesus especially loves the children. I love that this gorgeous horse was given the name "Cody's Wish"!! The owner was so very kind and compassionate to do that. My hat is off to him for the generous heart. ❤

Yeah I remember. This may be a strange theory but I think Cody’s wish lost because he’s wondering where his best friend is and misses him as he didn’t want to win not without his best friend there. Which I don’t think we can blame him for that

Nice story. I'm glad Cody has this special friend and that Cody's Wish won the Churchill Downs Stakes yesterday. Like nearly everyone, I was cheering him on as I watched on TV. 🏇

No doubt Cody and Cody Wish where the same Spirit and Heart......

Although I think that their bond is special, it does not surprise me. A lot of people do not understand that horses can form bonds with people. When I was in college, I rode and became friend with a bay with white socks named Master who always wanted to know why I had not come to see him more often.

No kidding. God blessed my with horses. My qualified hunter (horse) , me developed a bond so strong we knew what the other was thinking. He was my world/life. The word love can't describe our relationship. ❤
